On the morning of 12 November 2025, the opening ceremony of the Beijing International Arbitration Court Hong Kong Center (“Hong Kong Center”) was held in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Center is the first overseas branch established by the Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Court/China (Beijing) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center (“BAC/BIAC”). Its launch marks a pivotal step in BAC/BIAC’s professionalization efforts and global expansion strategy.

To coincide with the opening of the Hong Kong Center, BAC/BIAC also released French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Japanese and Korean versions of its International Arbitration Rules, bringing the total number of available languages to eight, including the previously published Chinese and English editions.
