On 29 October 2025, the Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Court/China (Beijing) Securities and Futures Arbitration Center (“BAC/BIAC”) convened the 16th meeting of its Eighth Committee, at which it reviewed and adopted the Domestic Arbitration Rules and the International Arbitration Rules (together, the “New Rules”). The New Rules will come into effect on 1 January 2026.
The adoption of the New Rules marks BAC/BIAC’s formal establishment of a “1+1+N” dispute-resolution framework—comprising one set of domestic rules, one set of international rules, and multiple sets of special rules.
